Latest CBA PowerTalk Explores Business Expansion in the Emerging Sustainability Landscape

The recent CBAPowerTalk event, held on 6th June 2023, provided a platform for industry experts and professionals to delve into the intricacies of expanding businesses within the emerging sustainability landscape. The event, hosted by Coface Slovenia in cooperation with Circular Business Academy, brought together thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and sustainability enthusiasts to discuss the implications of the revised Non-Financial Reporting Directive and its alignment with the ambitious European Green Deal.

Broadcasted live from the esteemed offices of Coface in Ljubljana, the event featured a dynamic and engaging conversation with Karin Huber-Heim, an expert in sustainability reporting and circular innovation. More than 40 participants attending the event live and through the stream had the opportunity to gain insights from her extensive knowledge and experience in the field.

The discussions revolved around the challenges and opportunities associated with the implementation of the European Green Deal, which aims to transform the European Union into a modern, resource-efficient, and competitive economy while striving for climate neutrality by 2050. The revised Non-Financial Reporting Directive, a crucial component of the Green Deal, was thoroughly examined, emphasizing its impact on businesses and their sustainability strategies.
