As part of the Challenge Circularity, META Circularity organised RECREATE Conference EU Composites Advantage Unveiled, held on 22nd May 2025 at the House of the EU in Ljubljana. The event brought together over 100 experts, innovators, and investors from across Europe to explore how circular solutions in composite materials can secure long-term competitive advantages for EU industries.
The event showcased 12 groundbreaking technologies from projects like Interreg Italia-Slovenija RECREATE, REFRESH project EU, EuReComp, and EOLIAN project EU —advancing reuse and remanufacturing in key sectors such as wind energy, aerospace, and automotive.
Key messages from EU policy leaders, market analysts, and green investors called for bold action and collaborative ecosystems to unlock the full potential of circular value chains.
